The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District has ice rescue instructors, technicians and operations level rescue personnel that make up their ice rescue team. Each year, the district conducts inhouse training with its personnel for recertification, new firefighter training and awareness training. The ice rescue team is equipped with ice rescue suits, ropes, floating noodles, ice drills, portable heaters and carabiners. This equipment is housed at our house one in our water rescue locker.
The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District has swift water rescue technicians, operations, awareness and instructor level personnel that make up their swift water rescue team. Each year the district conducts inhouse training with its personnel for recertification, new firefighter training and outsourced training. The swift water rescue team is equipped with swift water dry suits, swift water rescue life jackets, ropes, helmets, carabiners and throw bags. This equipment is housed at house one in our water rescue locker, onboard Rescue/Pumper 4261 and Ladder 4290.
The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District has firefighters trained in rope rescue operations for situations involving wildland rescue, low angle rescue and high angle rescue. Our district is equipped with rope rescue bags, life safety ropes, repelling equipment, carabiners and helmets. This equipment is housed at house one onboard Rescue/Pumper 4261, Ladder 4290 and Rescue/Squad 4285.
