Fire Chief Bart Mabry started his career as a volunteer in the fire service in the mid 1990's in Clarksville, MO. He rose through the ranks and spent many years as Fire Chief in Clarksville. Chief Mabry oversaw emergency operations during the flood of 2008 in Clarksville, MO. He moved to the Farmington area in 2009 and joined the Wolf Creek Fire Protection District (then fire department). He rose through the ranks and was appointed Fire Chief in 2010 after the retirement of the previous Fire Chief. Chief Mabry has played a major role in the advancement of the Wolf Creek Fire Department over the years and the planning and passing of the Wolf Creek Fire Protection District. He is an electrical engineer and oversees a large electrical power manufacturing facility in his full-time job. Chief Mabry continues to push for the improvement of the district and the fire service as a whole in St. Francois and Ste Genevieve Counties being active with many of the local county chiefs' meetings and associations. He also represents the St. Francois County Fire Departments and Districts on the St. Francois County 911 Public Safety Committee.
Asst. Chief Young has been in the fire service since 1998. He has been with the Wolf Creek Fire Protection District since 2001. In his tenure with the District, he has served as a firefighter, lieutenant, captain and assistant chief. Asst. Chief Young works full-time as a fire and explosion investigator for a large insurance company and also serves as a Principal Committee Member for the National Fire Protection Association on NFPA 1033 (Standard for Professional Qualifications for Fire Investigator) and NFPA 1700 (Guide to Structural Firefighting). Asst. Chief Young also volunteers as an instructor for the local county fire instructor cadre.
Captain Brust has service in the fire service since 1990. He has been with the Wolf Creek Fire Protection District since 2021. In his tenure with the District, he has service as a firefighter, lieutenant and captain. Captain Brust is a retired full-time firefighter/paramedic with the Valley Park Fire Protection District where he serves as a firefighter, lieutenant, deputy chief of inspections and retired as a captain.
Lieutenant Windle has been in the fire service since 2010. He has been with the Wolf Creek Fire Protection District since 2019. in his tenure with the District, he has served as firefighter and lieutenant. He also serves as the Training Officer for the District. Lieutenant Windle is employed as a full-time electrician and part-time instructor of swift water and ice rescue.
