The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District is an all-volunteer fire district located in southeast Missouri. We cover approximately 200 square miles of rural southeast St. Francois County and southwest Ste. Genevieve County with a population close to 6,500. The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District has one mission,

"To protect the life and property of those living in and traveling through our department boundaries"

The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District was established in 1984 as a Fire Protection Association. This allowed each tag holder to be a member of the association and vote on issues at the yearly tag holder meetings.
The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District has seen a lot of changes since its inception in 1984. The biggest and best change was the approval by the voters in April of 2021 to become a fire protection district.

The Wolf Creek Fire Protection District responds to a variety of emergency situations from structure fires and EMS calls to hazardous materials calls, water rescues, high angle rescues, motor vehicle accidents and search and rescue.
